Pony League
Pony League (7th – 8th grades): Registration for this League (called the North Suburban Pony League) opens each year in December and runs through early February.
- UNIQUE LEAGUE comprised of teams from Evanston, Glencoe, Glenview, Highland Park, Kenilworth-Winnetka, and Wilmette
- Teams are divided into A and B Divisions.
- Player evaluations held in February and/or March
- Evaluations are used to determine which 8th graders will play on our A Division team, and to create balanced teams (i.e. teams that are as equal in skills as possible) for all 7th graders and the remaining 8th graders who will be playing in the B Division.
- Volunteer Parent Coaches
- Practices start in early April, 2 – 4 practices per week
- Games start in late April and run through May
- Season ending Championship in early to mid June
- Practices and games are held in the late afternoon and early evenings on Monday through Friday and on Saturdays from 8:30 to early evening. Sunday events usually start around noon and may run through early evening.
